Money-saving technology

The implementation of energy-saving program at Kaluga Plant Remputmash OJSC, designed to be completed till the end of 2010, has begun. This initiative was supported by other enterprises of Remputmash concern.

As it was told to the Gudok at press relations service of the concern, at Yaroslavl car-building plant, which is part of Remputmash group, chief power engineer service and sector of operating system updating has developed and implemented a program, the aims of which are — the increase of energy-use efficiency, monitoring energy resources usage in daily mode, monitoring the completion of activities related to energy source preservation and monitoring of power network technical condition.

At Perm MRZ Remputmash OJSC the production shops have adopted a new working schedule: one of the main production subdivisions works with a shift slip of 4 hours. Change of schedule allows leveling one of the characteristics of energy-use. The core essence of the new schedule is the distribution of load within 24 hours: the largest usage occurs in daily hours at one-shift work, minimal — at night. Having shifted a part of workload to evening and night hours, the enterprise levels the energy load. With the introduction of the new working schedule, energy saving is about 700 thousand rubles monthly. And by saving the current operating mode at the end of the year Perm plant is going to get by 2011 monthly money-saving amounting to 200 thousand rubles with the same energy consumption rate.

As Sergey Vorobyov, chief specialist of Track and Facilities mechanization Department, told the Gudok, the implementation of energy-saving technologies is one of the priority directions of the work of the enterprises which belong to the track complex of the company. «Efforts aimed at energy-saving and fuel and lubricants economy are made both at enterprises — manufacturers of Russian Railways OJSC track machines, and at other plants. This is one of the most efficient ways of increasing production efficiency. Moreover, this area of work is also relevant for the implementation of the samples of new technology. Requirements for modern track machines include the point that technology should simultaneously stand out in high productivity and be economical in exploitation,» emphasized Sergey Vorobyov.
