Russian Federation government sanctioned transfer of 6 RPM plants to Group Parent Company

Russian Federation government has sanctioned the transfer of shares, belonging to 6 plants of Remputmash group (RPM), which pertain to Russian Railways OJSC, to RPM Head Company — Kaluga RPM Plant OJSC.

Corresponding order, made on July, 7, was signed by Vladimir Putin, RF Prime Minister. The government consents to the offer, made by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Transportation of the Russian Federation, to the takeover of these shares from Russian Railways OJSC.

Within the framework of the sanctioned transaction, Kaluga Plant RPM OJSC must obtain per 100% minus 1 shares of Abdulino plant RPM OJSC (Orenburg region), Vereschagino plant RPM OJSC (Perm district), Orenburg track-repair plant RPM OJSC, Perm motor locomotive repair plant RPM OJSC, Sverdlovsk track maintenance plant RPM OJSC and Yaroslavl car maintenance plant RPM OJSC.

Assets will be paid shares of additional turnout of RPM Kaluga plant.

Remputmash group comprises 9 plants, which manufacture spare parts and repair maintenance vehicles in Kaluga, Yekaterinburg, Orenburg, Perm, Yaroslavl, Moscow, and also in Orenburg region, Kaliningrad region and Perm district. Earlier, all of them were Russian Railways subsidiaries.

Previously, the carrier reported, that till 2012 he is going to sell «via private placements and auctions» up to 50% minus 2 shares of Kaluga Plant Remputmash OJSC with shares of 6 plants belonging to the Group, handed over to it in advance. Officially, the board of directors of Russian Railways OJSC only sanctioned the consolidation of RPM assets.

The source of information in RPM also reported that along with its assets the Group is planning to consolidate Kalugaputmash as well.
