Railroad workers are willing to support orphansDecember 7 the Governor of Kaluga Region Anatoly Artamonov and the President of Russian Railways OJSC Vladimir Yakunin officially opened a center of post-boarding school support «Spread Your Wings» on the basis of Azarovsk orphanage school in Kaluga. The opening ceremony was attended by the Director General of RPM Group Evgeny Yakovlev. The center was established through the joint efforts of the government of the region and the Charity Foundation of social assistance to children «Spread Your Wings» to assist graduates of children’s homes and orphanages in the region. The Center will be a key element of social support program for the former pupils of the institutions. For each of them a plan for individual assistance will be developed. During the event Anatoly Artamonov and the President of the Charity Foundation of social assistance to children «Spread Your Wings!» Anna Abbasova signed an agreement on further bilateral cooperation in this field. The Chairman of the board of trustees of the Charitable Foundation Vladimir Yakunin expressed his willingness to provide graduates of orphanages with assistance in training on professions that are in demand in the rail industry. The head of the Kaluga center «Spread Your Wings» received the keys to the car as a gift. The Director General of RPM Group Evgeny Yakovlev expressed his readiness to support children, graduates of orphanages, and presented Kaluga center with the latest model of the computer. |
