Equipment to transport 100 m long rails
If installed onto platforms of the inventory rolling stock of Russian Railways OJSC, the equipment in question allows providing for maximum possible loading of 100 meters long rails on the carriage rolling stock. The removable equipment for transportation of 100 meters long rails is applied for arrangement of rails, loaded from the manufacturing lines of integrated iron-and-steel works, and transportation of the rails to warehouses of the rail-welding undertakings (RWU), reconstructed for acceptance of the rails having length of 100 m. The equipment is arranged onto four-axle platforms of model «ПМ-820» or general-purpose platforms of models 13-401 and 13-4012 with loading upon axle of 23.5 t.
