ПУТНИК-10 (WANDERER-10)
The Maintenance Module represents a non self-propelled wagon for transportation of teams, working at the railroad construction facilities. The designers have designed three versions of the modules. The first wagon modification serves for transportation of the teams to the work performance place at the railroad. Onto the module frame an electric power station with power output of 16 kW is installed. The electric power unit secures uninterrupted operation of all the lighting and heating appliances and of air-conditioning system. The second modification of Module «Путник −10» («Wanderer-10») is equipped with an electric power station and a diesel-operated compressor; it is provided with a special pneumatic pipe-line, providing self-unloading wagons with compressed air. The third modification of the Module is intended for transportation of people and hauling of the process equipment, application of which in combination with the track rail-welding machine secures high-quality welding of rail strings. The Module holds 20 persons and is equipped with life support systems.
