Appeal of the General Director of the RPM Group Evgeny YAKOVLEV to the company employees concerning the acceptance of the Code of Business Conduct.
One of the main principles of our work should be the commitment to the essential moral standards. Decency and honesty are the principal bases of success in conditions of the current globalized market.
Our ethical principles are the peculiar compass, which will help to be guided with difficult situations. So as to give a detailed description of these principles the RPM Group has developed and published “The Code of Conduct”. It is applied to all employees of the enterprises included in the Group of Companies and to its managing bodies.
The basic directions and principles specified in the Code cannot certainly involve any possible situation arising in practice. Their purpose is to serve as a guide in the difficult world of today’s business and to promote the formation of knowledge about the rules of conduct.
I have a close look at the Code and I expect the same from all employees.
The management of the company and I myself shall observe these principles and standards, and follow them in our activity. Thereafter, we insist and expect from each of our employees the observance of the provisions of the Code of Conduct.
Our most valuable asset is our reputation. The success of each company depends on it. The observance of principles and provisions of the Code of Conduct makes a minimum of that we can do to establish, improve and protect our reputation.
I ask You to read this Code and to use it in day-to-day work.
At the same time I appeal to all our employees with the request to inform on all committed departures from the ethical standards and principles that became known to you, and I guarantee that this information will not be used against you under no circumstances.
