On September 1, 1995 under the decision of the Ministry of Railways the Tovarkovsky plant has been redeemed and included in the structure of the Kaluga Track Repair and Engineering Plant on the basis of the branch. Before that the Tovarkovsky plant was a bankrupt. But due to the efforts of the officials of the principal and Tovarkovsky plants it became possible to collect experts, renew the manufacture and open up the production of the hydro tool, hydrocylinders, rail lubricators, and then such technology-intensive machines as the screwdriver and the system for rail straightening and grinding.

1997

In searches of modern technologies the enterprise enter into cooperation with world leaders of track machine building, entering the new phase of development – the mutual production of hi-tech resource saving machines. In 1997 the management of the Ministry of Railways signed the contract for cooperation with Plasser and Tourer company (Austria); and the Kaluga plant Remputmash produces in cooperation with it the machine for a deep cutting of ballast ÀÕÌ-801. The same year the Kaluga Track Repair and Engineering Plant is reorganized by the directions of the Ministry of Railways of Russia to the State unitary enterprise the Kaluga plane Remputmash and it becomes the principal plant of association, in which structure ten repair and engineering plants were included. Geographically scattered from Ekaterinburg up to Kaliningrad, different on staff size and technical equipment, one task has united the plants, that is the formation and repair of high-efficiency track technical equipment and its accessories. So the powerful enterprise with a greater potential was created.

1998

The enterprises continue the search of new and unique resource saving technologies. In 1998 started the cooperation of Ministry of Railways and Remputmash plant with the Speno Company (Switzerland), the world leaders in the field of rail grinding. The partners have combined efforts and soon the first rail-grinding train ÐØÏ-48has arrived to the Western-Siberian railway.

1999

In 1999 the track facilities started to receive the high-efficiency aligning-tamping machines made by Remputmash in cooperation with Plasser and Tourer. Today Duomatic and Unimat machines stably operate on all railways of the country and have the excellent reputation. The machines without the use of import accessories ÌÎÁ-1Ã and KOM-300 were developed within the program of import substitution by the design office of Remputmash. The first domestic rail-grinding train ÐØÏ-12Ñ is designed and made for Sakhalin Railway. Such ideology has found support at the customers, so Remputmash has won the tender on delivery of track machines to the Ukraine, and now KOM-300 and ÐØÏ-48Ê operate on railways of the neighboring republic.

2001

The Lyudinovo engineering plant was redeemed by the Ministry of Railways that was included in the structure of State Unitary Enterprise the Kaluga plant Remputmash. For that moment the Lyudinovo plant was the bankrupt, it had the competitive manager and practically out-of-operation manufacture. After the serious reconstruction and substantial financial investments, the Lyudinovo plant has successfully renewed the operation having mastered the production of hopper-dosers, the repair and manufacturing of car retarders. The metallurgical production has been restored.

In 2003 the State Unitary Enterprise Kaluga plant REMPUTMASH is reorganized into the branch of Open Joint Stock Company Russian Railways. The corresponding decision on reorganization of the branch into the affiliated company of Open Joint Stock Company Russian Railways is accepted in May. On the annually spent (the 13th in succession) exhibition Track machines in Kaluga this year the Kaluga plant REMPUTMASH, JSC has presented the new samples of track technical equipment: continuously working aligning-tamping machine with the integrated stabilizer of the track Dinamic-tamping express train 09-3Õ to be use for: the complex bearing in the vertical alignment at the level and in the plan; the ballast consolidation under the sleepers and at the sleeper butts; dynamic stabilization of the railway track without the breach of its longitudinal profile and plan; the aligning-tamping machine PMA-S to be used for complex bearing in the vertical alignment at the level and in the plan with three-point track rise, the ballast consolidation under the sleepers and to the sleeper butts of pointworks of the tracks with any types of fastenings at the current track maintenance and repairs, the construction of new lines and the reconstruction of old lines; - the motor-rail car ÀÊÑ-01 intended for the maintenance service and repair of contact networks and air-lines on electrified railways. Besides the plant has developed and started the manufacture of the self-propelled hand car, track universal for the transportation of track brigades 24 person in number, equipped by all necessary for carrying out the track works: the complete kit of track tool, essentially new hydromanipulator with the complete kit of the replaceable hinged equipment, hook-on tamping unit equipped with the mechanism for planning of slopes and bunkers for rubble. This hand car is planned to use for operative carrying out of the track repair on local sites. The Open Joint Stock Company Russian Railway have greater need for the above-stated new technical in connection with need of increase in transportation speed, so the speeds of track repair and its quality. The management body of the Railway Department of the Open Joint Stock Company Russian Railway has set the problem for the Moscow railway and REMPUTMASH to create the range for carrying out of high-grade tests, checkout of produced machines and training of crews. Due to the Moscow railway in the shortest terms the former freight tracks of Kaluga-1 station, which practically were not used, have been updated and the range is constructed: three pieces of line of 800 meters each.

Open Joint-Stock Company Kaluga plant Remputmash is established again by incorporation according to the Contract No. 1 dated 24.08.2005 made between Open Joint Stock Company Russian Railways and Autonomous non-commercial organization Zheldorreforma. The share fraction belonging to Open Joint Stock Company Russian Railwaysin the authorized capital of the Company makes 100% minus one share.

The Kaluga plant became the managing company in the formed group of companies REMPUTMASH that includeds9 enterprises.

At the exhibition Track machines-2007 the essentially new track technical equipment such as the tamping automatic machine for point works PMÀ-C, the motor-rail car ÀÊÑ-01 for energy department of railways as well as the tamping express train Dinamic 09-3õ made together with the Plasser and Tourer compamy (Austria) are presented.

The international infrastructural exhibition The transport infrastructure and track machines has been performed for the first time in the history of the enterprise, where all range of special transport has been presented for the railroad service - from machines for track facilities service up to the power complexes and technologies.
The unique product of the Kaluga designers is the service motor-rail car AC-1 to be used for the transportation of 48 repairman specialists and considerably expanded tool kit to the place of railway way repair, has been marked by the Diploma of 1-st degree of Open Joint Stock Company Russian Railways.
