Electric Ballasting Machine «ЭЛБ-4С» is intended for use in the course of rehabilitation, intermediate maintenance and overall repair of railway track with rails and cross-sleepers of all types for execution of the following kinds of work: ballast dozing along the track length and ballast section width; track raising or continuous skeletonizing of assembled rails and sleepers on the move; shifting of track skeleton in plane; elimination of track irregularities in plane; the track dynamic consolidation; ballast bursting under the track skeleton; cutting and leveling of track formation shoulders; rough tamping of ballast section slopes; slope consolidation; leveling.
