The comments that have been accumulating in the operation resulted in technical requirements for manufacturing a new machine - ЩОМ-1200М, in the mechanical part of which practically all components have been improved to a greater or lesser extent. The ballast rake ЩОМ is upgraded, chutes are strengthened. In the new version of the machine a mechanical-hydrostatic drive of bars chain is used.
